However, Dysport’s special formula can address a wider area of the face with fewer injections compared to BOTOX. Although Dysport uses the same active ingredient as BOTOX, Dysport has a smaller active molecule in its formula, allowing it to distribute over the treated facial areas more efficiently. The choice of which treatment to choose is a subjective one, as lengths of effectiveness vary from person to person with both Dysport and BOTOX.
